Day 1 Arrival in Passau, sail by night
Passau’s historic centre has a very distinct Mediterranean flair about it. Embarkation at approx. 4:00 pm, departure at 7 pm.
Day 2 Ybbs - Krems, ca. 59 km/37 mi, sail by night
A cycling tour through the Wachau region. The Melk baroque monastery, as well as the legendary town of Dürnstein and the millenia-old town of Krems - where your ship awaits you - are highlights of this tour.
Day 3 Esztergom - Szentendre, 56-75 km/35-47 mi, sail by night
Starting in the episcopal town of Esztergom, the route will lead you to the artists’ hub of Szentedre. From here, you can take the train to Budapest.
Day 4 Budapest and bike tour, 22 km/14 mi, sail by night
The morning starts with a 3 hours city tour. In the afternoon you will cycle to the inner city and to the recreational area Danube island margit-sziget.
Day 5 Mohacs - Kalocsa, ca. 44 km/27 mi
Cycling tour along the car-free Europe bike path through the Puszta. The ship will take you from Baja to Kalcsa, Puszta’s capital.
Day 6 Boat trip, Komarno, 9-52 km/6-32 mi, sail by night
Today, you can choose between a ride to Monostori, Hungary’s most important fort, or take your bike on a loop through lonely meadowlands to Moča and back.
Day 7 Wien - Tulln, ca. 31 km/19 mi, sail by night
Ride through Klosterneuburg to the Roman town of Tulln, where we can highly recommend a visit to the Tulln gardens.
Day 8 Passau and departure
Around 10 am we will be arriving in Passau where this tour "Boat and bike tour on the Danube" concludes. Disembarkation after breakfast.
