Lake Neusiedl has a Mediterranean atmosphere - gently rolling vineyards, salt lakes and reed belts characterise this landscape. Your gaze wanders far over the Pannonian Steppe. With 300 days of sunshine a year, beautiful weather is almost guaranteed. While this natural landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Vienna, Baden and Bratislava are centres of culture and nightlife. This bike tour in Burgenland is suitable for all, but strong winds can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. Take your time, there is a lot to discover and savour along the way, a speciality of the people of the Burgenland.
